Jay Jain (45) and Om Keshkamat (40) rebuilt the innings with a wonderful 75-run stand before both fell in a quick succession.
The Strikers pulled back things with regular wickets before Dhrumil Matkar at six played a handy knock of 17-ball 28* to power the Blasters to 189/9 at the end of their innings.
