9:40 PM IST: A dominant performance from Bangladesh as they outplayed the Sri Lankans in all facets of the game to win by 7 wickets with 8 overs to spare. Apart from the first 10-20 overs of the match, Bangladesh dominated the proceedings and deserve this win in this warm up fixture in Guwahati.
Chasing a tricky 264 for the win, Bangladesh rode on a strong start from their openers Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das. The duo put on 131 for the first wicket and Bangladesh never really looked back from there. Litton Das scored 61 off 56 balls while Tanzid Hasan carried on for his 84 off 88 balls. After both fell and Hridoy got out early, it was skipper Mehidy Hasan Miraz who led from the front with the bat with an unbeaten 67* off 64 balls.
