FOUR RUNS! Back of a length outside off. Bawa clears his front leg and pulls towards wide long-on. The fielder in the deep runs across and tries to flick the ball inside the fence but fails to do so.

FOUR RUNS! That's it! Chandigarh win by 6 wickets and 8 balls to spare. Low full toss around off-stump line. Bawa presents a full face of the bat and punches it straight down the ground for a boundary to finish the game.

CG won by 6 wickets
7:47 PM IST, Local Time: Chandigarh win by 6 wickets and start their campaign on a positive note. Bihar’s bowlers did stage a brief comeback in the middle overs, but couldn’t sustain pressure for long enough to protect their total, eventually falling short as Chandigarh completed a comfortable chase.

Earlier, Bihar posted 157/7 in 20 overs after a flying start, but Chandigarh fought back strongly with the ball to keep the total in check. Vaibhav Suryavanshi set the tone, starting with back-to-back sixes before Sakibul Gani (36) and Ayush Loharuka (25) powered the side to 72/1 at the end of the powerplay, with 180+ looking realistic. However, once the set pair departed, the scoring rate dipped, and regular wickets halted momentum. Bipin Saurabh (36 off 28) and Suraj Kashyap (20 off 19) steadied briefly but couldn't push on at the death, leaving Bihar short of what seemed a bigger total.

Raj Angad Bawa and Sandeep Sharma picked up two wickets each, while Rahul Singh, Chiragvir Dhindsa, and Raman Bishnoi bagged one apiece as Chandigarh took control in the latter half.

The reply was set up by a solid top-order show, led by Manan Vohra’s composed 50 off 40 balls. He found strong support from Arjun Azad, who played a brisk hand of 31 off just 21 deliveries, pushing Chandigarh to 72/1 by the 7th over.

A mini-collapse in the middle saw two wickets fall in quick succession, but Raj Angad Bawa steadied the chase and shifted the momentum back with an impactful unbeaten 36 from 22 balls, striking boundaries at crucial stages. Raman Bishnoi chipped in with 14 off 10,, while Gaurav Puri accompanied Bawa at the finish as Chandigarh crossed the line with nine balls to spare.

Suraj Kashyap was the pick of the bowlers for Bihar with 2/23, while others struggled to contain runs or make breakthroughs consistently, resulting in a comfortable chase for Chandigarh.
