DROPPED... Fuller delivery towards the off-stump, Gregory on extra cover settles under this but it was moving like a waving flag and he drops this in the end and they scamper for a couple.
Ovaise: Trent Rockets have been poor in the field!! 2nd easy catch has been dropped but unlike the last time gets a finger tip to it!!

SIX!!! This is what he can do and he is capable of delivering. He has sent this in the orbit and back over the fence. Fuller delivery towards the middle, Livingstone has slogged this way behind the fence towards deep square leg for a gigantic maximum. Phoenix have won this with this and Livingstone has also reached his half-century here.

NIKHIL: So, we are done here with Birmingham Phoenix winning the game as they defeat Birmingham Phoenix by 7 wickets, as they chase down the target of 145 runs.

Trent Rockets started Sluggishly as they lost their top order cheaply. After being 53 for the loss of 6 wickets they managed to score 145 by the end of 100 deliveries. They managed to do so as the pair Sams and Gregory played astonishingly and posted 92 runs together. Sams was the top scorer with 55 runs in just 24 deliveries.

For Birmingham Phoenix, Benny Howell scalped 3 wickets. Moeen Ali, Tahir, and Helm took a wicket each.

In reply to the target set by the Rockets, Phoenix started in cautiously, losing a couple of wickets in the powerplay as they managed to bag 26 runs.

Smeed and Hammond couldn’t last long and both departed on a total of 25 runs. Then came Ali and Livingstone and they managed to put up a partnership of 85 runs. They paced along well as the game progressed and started hitting maximums for fun. Ali scored a brilliant half-century before he got out. Livingstone and Wade then took the team past the total that was set for them posting 39 together.

For Rockets, Wood started off superbly as he got rid of Smeed and Hammond in the powerplay itself. He later walked in and got rid of Moeen Ali as well.

Moeen Ali: "Felt horrible then ugly but was important to hang in there! The wicket did feel like the timing it was difficult. It was tight in the middle but we have got some good players and we knew we had to take it till the end! We are still unbeaten at home and it's hard for the opponents to come and beat us here! "

This is it from the live coverage of this game with Birmingham Phoenix winning it by 7 wickets. That’s it for today from myself Nikhil Kalla alongside my
co-commentator Ovaise with our scorer/analyst Chandan Kr Singh. See you soon again with more games to follow till then stay safe.
