Sachin Baby(Alleppey Ripples Captain) - (On the wicket) Yeah it was good and the ball was coming nicely on to the bat at one stage. Myself and Arun KA had a great partnership. They (Calicut Globstars) played great cricket. The Calicut Globstars have been great under pressure throughout the tournament. Good luck to them for the finals.
(On the batting and bowling) This was a crunch game. There can be some or the other issue with the batting and the bowling. There wasn't really any confusion in our camp. However with the dew coming in play it was difficult to control the ball. Due to dew we dropped a couple of catches which proved to be very costly in the end.
(On the season overall) We played very good cricket. We finished top of the table. We played some amazing cricket in this season and the three hundreds by Azharuddeen will go down in the history books. It will be extremely tough for anyone to replicate it. "

(On the batting) The batting delivered for us big time. Basith, Krishna Dev, Salman myself all of us batted really well and we contributed big time during the pressure situations.
(On Jose's performance) I think it is hard work and discipline which is the reason behind his success. He was a part of the squad and he showed a lot of talent. He worked really hard and wanted to play throughout the season. He was ready for a chance. The coaches took the call at the right point of time and eventually it worked well for us. All youngsters should learn from him.
(On the course of the match) We were very sure that it was a matter of one wicket. Arun KA played really well but we knew just one game can change the game. Thanks to go.
(On plans for the final) I want to just relax today and plan tomorrow. Thrissur are a superb team and have done really well in the competition. So we have to go out there and plan accordingly for them. "

The second semi-final ebbed and flowed. Momentum was with Calicut Globstars side for most of the game, but Alleppey Ripples showed flashes of brilliance to take the game deep. Sachin Baby and Arun KA's 162-run stand nearly propelled the Ripples to victory, but a batting collapse snatched the game away from them. Calicut Globstars qualified for the grand finale
In the first semi-final today, Thrissur Titans defeated Trivandrum Royals to book a berth in the final and now, Calicut Globstars joined them. The grand finale is scheduled for tomorrow. Both the high flying sides will lock horns tomorrow for the trophy. Do join us for the live coverage.
