10:33 PM IST and 7:03 PM Local: That would be it, as Harare Bolts have made it over the line against Cape Town Samp Army in a tricky chase at Harare. But, thanks to George Munsey and Jimmy Neesham's unbeaten partnership of 64 runs, they have got a "W" from this affair.
After putting a total of 103 runs on the board, the Samp Army bowlers came out all guns blazing as they took the first three wickets in the first overs before taking one more in the fifth over of the game as Kennar Lewis, Shehan Jayasuriya, Dasun Shanaka, Sean Williams went back to the dugout.
Sabbir Rahman came to the middle but was sent back with a terrific run-out from the deep, as the Holts lost half of their side in six overs. Then came Munsey and Neesham together to the middle. The Kiwi was the first one to attack as they took on against the spinner, taking them in the leg side, i.e. on the shorter side on this venue.
With 39 runs needed off the last three overs, it was Munsey's turn to explode, and he did! He went berserk against Qais Ahmed, tonking 22 runs off him in the second last over. After that it became a mere formality as they chased down the target of 104 runs in 9.3 overs.
