(Love playing against East Delhi Riders) Yes, we've beaten them twice now, but I'd actually give the credit to Hooda, because he took some crucial wickets in the last match as well, when we won by five wickets, and again today. He helped us a lot.
(Thoughts on the total) Sir, we didn't think it would be that easy, but we knew we'd scored 220 runs in the last match. Our batters are very talented, so we felt that chasing 190 would be manageable. When the opener gave us a good start, I felt that I could go in and focus on improving the run rate.
(On his innings tonight) Sir, I was just thinking that we'd win the match, and that the run rate could also become crucial for us. So I was going for the run rate, and the shots kept coming off. There were runs available, so I just kept going.

A sheer dominating performance by South Delhi Superstarz as they register a nine-wicket victory against East Delhi Riders. South Delhi made a mockery of the chase by reaching the 192-run target in just 16.5 overs. With this, they have registered their second win in DPL 2026 while East Delhi Riders are still searching for their first victory of the season.
