Harry Brook (Player of the Match, England Captain): "[On the win] It was good. Always good to beat India. They are a strong side for many years and to beat them 3-0 with one game to go. We are very happy.

[On what he is proud of] 2 things stand out for sure: the way that we have adapted to the surface and used different skills to be able to combat that, and the communication from the coaches to the players and the players back to the coaches has been phenomenal.

[On the senior players] Jofra and Tongue are getting on like a house on fire as well. They're having good conversations out there, learning what's best to bowl on that surface as well. Jos, with the spinners, stood up to the stumps. He's a very valuable player for us as he has been for many years. Just those little conversations make a massive difference.

[On the next match] It'd be pretty cool to be World number 1, to be honest. That's definitely an aim for us. We just keep on doing the same things that we have done in this series so far. We'll stick to our guns, and hopefully we'll come out well.

[On his batting] It felt good, and it's just some conversations with the coaches. Trying to figure out where the best is to try and hit the ball on the ground, and thankfully, I can try and access all the way around the ground. I felt like using the pace today was probably the best option, and thankfully, I got a few out of the middle.

[Whether it's individual or collective aggressiveness] I think everybody can be, to be honest, because we've got so much depth in the batting line-up. And we brought Rehan in today, who's going to end up being number eight, who can hit a long ball as well. So just having that extra bit of depth on a small ground here, 60 metres straight, we backed our batting to win us the game."
TRIVIA: Before today, India had never lost an international match at Bristol. They had won three of their four ODIs at the venue, with the other ending in a no result, and had also won their only previous T20I there. That unbeaten record came to an end today.
FUN FACT: England have secured their first-ever bilateral T20I series win over India (minimum two matches). Before this series, India had won five of the previous six bilateral T20I series between the sides, whereas one had finished level.
TRIVIA: India's previous bilateral series defeats against England (across all formats) both came during the 2018 tourβ€”losing the ODI series 2-1 and the Test series 4-1. Since then, before the ongoing T20I series, India had won eight of their next 10 bilateral series against England, with the remaining two ending in 2-2 draws in Test cricket.

The Last Time India Lost Consecutive T20I series was in 2019:

vs  New Zealand (away), 2019 – Lost 1–2 (3 matches)

vs Australia (home), 2019 – Lost 0–2 (2 matches)
Trivia: This was the 37th instance in Men's T20Is where both captains scored 50+ in the same match, the 16th involving two Full Member teams, and the first-ever between India and England.
A historic win for England over World Champions India. An unassailable lead for the Harry Brook-led side at Bristol which makes the final T20 international of the tour a dead rubber. A disappointing T20 leg so far for the Indian side with 5 losses (2 against Ireland) and an abandoned game so far. The men in blue need to go back to the drawing board and make the necessary amends to get back to the winning ways.

That will be it from our coverage. Thank you for joining us. Here's Ninaad Dixit signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Darpan Tikiya, scorer/analyst Raju Khariya and statistician Aman. Stay tuned for more action from around the world.
