Harry Brook (Player of the Match): "Lot of anxiety going around and thankfully it stopped and we got the game going on. We took a bit of information with our batting. We knew its going to be tough for them to bat as the pitch was wearing a bit.

There was some spin in the middle as well, I wasn't sure how it will come off so I tried to stick in there and I got a few runs. Bairstow was just trying to smack it. He was gonna hit a few sixes after those dot balls, he bowled beautifully.

Hopefully I can stay up for the game tonight (Australia - Scotland)."
Gerhard Erasmus (Namibia Captain): "It was a steep chase and still felt bowling first was the right way to go about it. Wiese doesn't wanna open probably we will get him early quicker but unfortunately it was his last game which is a great moment for him to have performed like that.

Massive impact in terms of the level of cricket he brought to our circle. He is a great guy on the field in terms of performance but off the field he is someone whom we have learnt a lot from.

You have to be disappointed for not crossing the line but coming to international events for a country like ours its a massive and exposure gained is gold dust.

Definitely think so, you get better every time you get exposure. It will translate in wins in the future. We need to play more and more of the high level competitions."
Jos Buttler (England Captain): "Big relief. It was certainly a stressful day with the rain coming down, but I thought we put in a really good performance. I think everyone managed the situation well. We were well-prepared when we did play and performed admirably.

Yeah, I thought that was a really good score on that wicket. After I got out, I was thinking 85 or 90 might be a really good score, considering how the ball was sticking in the wicket. Credit to Bairstow and Brook for their fantastic partnership, with great cameos from Moeen and Livi as well.

We obviously had the two games rained out in England against Pakistan, and then the Scotland game. But I think everyone has dealt with everything that's been thrown at us really well. We've done all we can do, and now we'll see what happens.

(if they will be rooting for Australia for a night) Absolutely (wears a cheeky smile)."

That's all from this rain-hit encounter, folks! England are still alive in this T20 World Cup, and their eyes are now on the outcome of the Australia vs. Scotland game. A win for Australia will secure England's spot in the Super 8s, while a win for Scotland will knock the English side out of this marquee tournament.

For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of co-commentator Ninaad Dixit and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. CHEERS!
