Ben Stokes (England Captain): "Yeah, amazing. I thought the comeback we showed after the opening partnership was remarkable. To pick up 10 wickets for 70 runs is exceptional. Bash showed the world what he is capable of. To change his pace and line with nothing much from the surface was extraordinary.
I think in team sports, you want quite a few individuals to step up. The partnership last night between Root and Brook was great. Those conditions were hard to bat in. The ball was swinging. It gave us a good platform. We would have been happy to get some more runs in the first innings. But really happy with the performance of the boys throughout this Test.
I think this week has been great for the progression that this team has made. Ben Duckett's second innings was a great example of that. He adapted and changed his style with different fields set. Joe was Joe. Fantastic knock and another hundred in the winning cause. Brook was also sensational. Wood on any other day would get Player of the Match for the way he bowled.
(On Mark Wood) I think like Woody has not got the rewards in this game. Like batting, bowling is also about partnerships. With the way he was bowling, we got wickets from the other end. He will always give his heart out. He has been fantastic this week and I'm sure he will get the rewards in the future.
(On Chris Woakes) Woakesy has found his rhythm on day two. He led the attack brilliantly. He changed the game for us. He picked the first wicket and it led to a collapse. Coming into this game with some external noise, I think it hasn't affected him much."
