Nat Sciver-Brunt (England Women Captain): "Yeah, we really wanted to put in a strong performance today and reaffirm our trust in the methods we’ve followed throughout this tournament, which have been largely successful. So, yeah, we’re really happy to have produced that kind of performance today and to take some confidence into the semifinal.
I think it was about being proactive in the middle order with the bat. The conditions definitely played a part today. And with the ball, it was about reaffirming our plans and making sure the execution was spot on. But yeah, as a team, one thing we can all do to show how much we care for each other is through our fielding — keeping that energy up, especially when it was quite hot out there.
(On Sophie Ecclestone's injury) I don’t know anything further, but yeah, it was definitely precautionary. Obviously, we’ve got a huge match coming up against South Africa, so we wouldn’t want to risk anything right now. We’ll know more in a few days.
(On Jones) Yeah, she was brilliant. She started off with a great partnership alongside Tammy, and during our fielding innings, it felt like when the ball was still hard, it was a little easier to play. But they navigated that period really well, and having Amy there at the end was massively important. Hopefully, they can both take a lot of confidence into the next game."
