However, the outfield has taken a lot of water over the past few days and remains very wet. The ground staff are working tirelessly to get conditions ready, and we’re hoping for some positive news soon. As it stands, the toss has been officially delayed due to the damp outfield.

7:20 PM IST, 2:50 PM Local Time: The live coverage shows it's still raining, and the groundsmen are in the middle doing their work. 

7:33 PM IST, 3:03 PM Local Time: The umpires stepped out for an inspection a few minutes ago - with their umbrellas still up - which tells you everything. We’re in for a long delay. Next inspection at 4:00 PM Local Time (8:30 PM IST).

8:30 PM IST, 4:00 PM Local Time: The scenes at Bready Cricket Club weren’t looking promising about 15 minutes ago as it had gotten quite dark, but the light has improved slightly now. A Super Sopper can be seen in the camera frame, doing its job. The umpires are out in the middle once again, but with their umbrellas up - a clear indication that the rain continues to fall.

8:45 PM IST, 4:15 PM Local Time: Unfortunately, the match has been called off without a ball being bowled. The umpires conducted an inspection, but steady rain and a damp outfield left them with no choice but to abandon the game.

The three-match T20I series has now turned into a one-match shootout, with the decider set to take place in less than 24 hours from now.
