Dane van Niekerk (Oval Invincibles skipper): "For some reason we love winning at Lord's. It's always special to play at this ground. The way this team carries itself is just amazing. Mady's been bowling really well. She's been unlucky this whole tournament with a couple of outside edges and inside edges. The last couple of games she's coming in her own and we all know what she can do. She's a big match player and was up for bowling the first set. Beth has gone so well you want to get her out. We were quite lucky with Mady bowling off spin. We have Capsey as well and having options makes it easier for the captain. We all know what Beth Mooney can do and are lucky she got out. I love it when Ismail has energy, you can see it in her run up and the way she releases the ball. She used that slope today and I'm just glad. She's a world class player. We've played together for 13 years and I kinda understand what she needs. It's a partnership at the end of the day. She's been playing this game for many many years and as a bowler if you have freedom to what you want to do it makes you better. I need the bowlers to do what they want to do. I can't be accountable for my lines and lengths if you set my field. So I give them the freedom to do what they want to do. The openers have played lot of international cricket, they understand each other and have put us in good situations in the tournament. We need to try and defend scores to tick that box as well to have all our bases covered. It's just about planning and that's the nice thing about last couple of games, we have managed to execute plans. The fielding's been really good. The vibe's good and the energy's good and that's what you want to have entering a final and I hope we end first (in the table). Hopefully we can keep the same attacking momentum in the next game. Marizanne Kapp makes the team confident. She's the best women's cricketer in the world the way she's performing in internationals and in the leagues all over the world. Class is permanent and she might come back in the team next game."
