NIKHIL: So, we are done here with Manchester Originals winning the game, and booking a slot in the Finals against the Trent Rockets.
After Winning the toss, the London Spirit batted first here and they got off in a bad manner losing Rossington early on. Crawley and McDermott started aggressively, especially Ben McDermott. They managed to post 69 runs together. Ben McDermott was the top scorer as he scored 59 runs whereas Ravi Bopara gave the finishing touch with 34 runs in just 16 deliveries.
For the Manchester Originals, Parkinson and Little took a couple of wickets each while Paul Walter was the standout as he took 3 wickets today.
In reply to the target set by the London side, the Originals started off in a sensational manner as the openers added 53 runs in the first 25 deliveries.
Laurie Evans and Salt started off in a sensational manner scoring 101 for the 1st wicket partnership. Laurie Evans played a fantastic inning of 72 runs before perishing. A quick flurry of wickets brought the London Spirits back in the game but the little cameos at the end do the job for Manchester Originals.
For the London Spirit, Liam Dawson, Nathan Ellis, and Mason Crane took a wicket each.

Laurie Evans(Hero of the Match): "I would have enjoyed a lot more had I finished it. Incredible journey as we have won 6 in a row. We thought we had to go hard at the top in case the wicket breaks up a bit. Salt did a great job. Different guys have stepped up at different times. Has been a great group. I would have loved to have Jos here. A huge player that we miss. We have been playing some good cricket and playing for each other. Trent has been fantastic throughout. There would be pressure on them as they are the best team. We will try to go there and cause an upset."
