A brilliant bowling and fielding display has helped Oval get over the line and get their first win this season.
Chasing a target of 129 for the win, Manchester Originals never really got going and were for most of the times playing catch up. Emma Lamb was dismissed for a golden duck. Laura Wolvaardt scored 27 off 23 balls. Campbell scored a painstaking 17 off 26 balls. But it was Deandra Dottin who kept the hopes alive for the visitors as she scored a brilliant 42 off 26 balls and got out towards the end when the game was on the line. Skipper Sophie Ecclestone got into double figures but the rest of the batters faded away and they ended with 123/9 after 100 balls. 12 extras were given by the fielding side.

I think we put out a great batting performance and it was a lot better than last night, the other night, which is what we wanted, so, yeah, it's definitely good.
