FOUR! WHAT A WAY TO COMPLETE THE DEMOLITION JOB! Full outside-off, Aman lifts it superbly over mid-off for a boundary. Fifty up for Aman and more importantly Hyderabad smash Mumbai by nine wickets and 49 balls to spare.

HYD won by 9 wickets
7:25 PM IST, Local Time: Complete dominance from Hyderabad, as they crushed Mumbai by 9 wickets with 49 balls to spare. This emphatic win gives their Net Run Rate a massive boost, with the numbers now reading +4.605.

Hyderabad produced a sensational bowling display to bundle out Mumbai for just 131, with Mohammed Siraj leading the charge with 3/17. Mumbai began positively through Yashasvi Jaiswal, but Ajinkya Rahane’s dismissal in the fourth over triggered a collapse. Sarfaraz Khan and Jaiswal fell inside the Powerplay, leaving Mumbai reeling at 45/3.

Wickets continued to tumble as Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Atharva Ankolekar departed soon after, reducing Mumbai to 67/5. A brief resistance came from Hardik Tamore and Suryansh Shedge, who added 45 runs, but once Chama Milind removed Tamore, the innings unraveled again. Siraj struck twice in two balls to remove Shedge and Shardul Thakur, before knocking over Tanush Kotian in his next over.

In reply, Aman Rao exploded right from the first ball, launching the chase with a six and smashing 24 runs off Shardul Thakur in the opening over of the innings. Tanmay Agarwal matched the intent from the other end, scoring at a brisk pace as Hyderabad made a fiery start to the chase.

The openers carried on the onslaught, dispatching the bowlers to all parts of the ground. Both brought up their fifties and set up a commanding win, as Hyderabad chased the target with nine wickets and 49 balls to spare. Tanmay Agarwal smashed 75 before finding the fielder in the deep, while Aman Rao stayed unbeaten on 52, finishing the game with a boundary.

Mumbai's bowling looked very mediocre, and Tushar Deshpande was the only successful bowler for them, taking one wicket.

Another one-sided contest at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, and this time Hyderabad drubbed Mumbai by 9 wickets to kick off their Super League phase on a high. Time to wrap up this coverage, folks! For now, it’s me, Deepak Prakash, signing off on behalf of co-commentator Karthik Raj and scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal. Cheers!
