They win this game by 5 wickets with 6.4 overs to spare. USA loses their 3rd match in a row and are out of reckoning now. A good game in which the Dutch were too good in the end.
Chasing a gettable score of 212 for their first win, Netherlands lost Vikramjit Singh early. Max O'Dowd scored 26 while Wesley Barresi scored 29. Bas de Leede wasted deliveries and did not score much. Teja Nidamanuru was the star today for his 58 off 68 balls. But it was the skipper Scott Edwards who led from the front with his unbeaten 67* off 60 balls. Scott Edwards (Player of the Match & Netherlands Captain): "Yeah, feeling very happy after winning the game. Obviously was a bit disappointed the other day. I was trying to be a bit easy and hit the gaps. I am pretty comfortable with what my game is and how to adapt to different conditions. When I get in, I try to hold the innings."
Aaron Jones (USA Captain): "I think we could have taken some more wickets early on to bring a lot of pressure to the batting side. To be honest, 250 was a challenging score on this surface. I think losing so many wickets in the early innings is a carbon copy of the last game for us.
If we had more wickets in the hands we could have scored around 250 runs. Quite a few of the guys have a bug right now. Our captain has been out for the last two games. Not much you can do about that. We play enough cricket and we know you win some and you lose some. It is just about going back and coming back hard in the next game.

I think the toss was important as the first 10-15 overs were important to say the least. So, happy to win the toss and match. Absolutely. These guys have played games in the morning. Be wary of the start overs and then play your natural game. Yes, a little bit of both and we always have chat about getting the scoreboard ticking all the time. That's what we did and happy to win today's game."
