7:52 AM IST, 3:22 PM Local Time: New Zealand do short work of the mini total they were set to chase finishing the game off inside the powerplay to take the series 3-0 defeating Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the 3rd and final T20I.
Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to bat first. Jess Kerr started off with a maiden and started the flow of wickets in the 3rd over. Nensi Patel kicked off her spell with a double wicket maiden continuing to put Zimbabwe on the backfoot.
Patel finished with 3/8, Jess Kerr with 2/6 with Amelia Kerr (1/12) and Maddy Green (1/5) claiming a wicket apiece. Adel Zimunu hit 20 in 23 balls and Audrey Mazvishaya remained unbeaten on 20 to help Zimbabwe score 64/9 surviving all 20 overs.
Chasing a mini total of 65, Izzy Gaze provided a wonderful start for New Zealand smashing 38 off 20 balls with 7 fours, Izzy Sharp opening with Gaze hit 4 fours in her unbeaten 18 off 14 balls with New Zealand winning by 10 wickets inside the 6th over.
The game changed in the 2nd over when Adel Zimumu conceded 23 runs, New Zealand carrying the momentum to hit 16 off the 3rd over against Nomvelo Sibanda and closing the chase in the 6th.

Amelia Kerr (Player of the Series): [on her performance] "It's nice to be able to contribute, nice to get 3 wins for the team.
[on their bowling today] We obviously started with a flier picking up those wickets. Their lower order did a great job to bat through and post the score they did but pleasing to get the win.
It's always nice to get runs and wickets. They come and go at times so you take them when you can."

Nomvelo Sibanda (Zimbabwe Women Captain): "[on the performance] It was really tough. We really tried our best but we just didn't come to the party.
[summing up the T20s] Obviously disappoint result but we've got a few positives to take out of here.
[on the positives] Catches win matches so I think if we hold on to those, we will be a better fielding team. The positives - that we are creating those chances and today we had the tailenders carrying us with the bat as well so there's positives.
