Siddhant Sharma (Outer Delhi Warriors Captain): "(Congratulations on the win) Thank you so much, sir.

(With 200+ to defend, did you think that the job was half done?) No, sir, I wouldn't say more than half the job was done. We knew it wouldn't be easy because North Delhi had also won their last match convincingly and chased down a good total. Also, with the dew coming in at night, the ball doesn't behave the same way in the second innings as it does in the first. So we didn't think it would be easy. We knew it would be a fight, and the team that played better would win.

(About Akshay Saini's unbeaten knock in the first innings) Absolutely, sir. Akshay is in very good form. Our start was very good today, as it has been in most games. Then, during the middle overs, we fell behind a little bit. But Akshay came in and handled the situation really well. He also allowed the other batters to play around him, and he continued right until the end. That helped us post a very good total.

(Thoughts on Aman and Harsh's spell tonight) Sir, I had saved those two crucial overs for Harsh because I knew he would deliver when needed. I knew Aman was our wicket-taking bowler, so I was confident he would get us a wicket. And that's exactly what he did today. He got the wickets for us. Harsh's two crucial overs were also very good. He bowled some excellent yorkers.

(On the road ahead) Absolutely, sir. We'll try our best to finish in the top two."

Aman Chaudhary (POTM): "(Dedicating the award) It’s for my family, sir. I’m playing for them.

(About his match-winning spell tonight) Sir, I had been trying before as well, but I had to talk to myself because I was bowling too fast. I gave myself a bit of a pep talk, and today I decided to bowl slower and try to get the ball to turn. The ball turned, and I got wickets.

(About picking wickets at the crucial junctures of the match) When there's pressure on me, I actually feel very good because I feel that's the moment when you can become a star. You can change the game, put in a standout performance, and show that you belong at this level.

So that was my mindset — that I would get them out. I wasn't feeling any pressure that we couldn't win because I'd been watching matches for the last two days, and they've been played on this same wicket. I had seen the ball turning for the spinners.

I always look to turn the ball, but before this match I wasn't trying to turn it. I was bowling straight and very fast. I was even hearing it in the commentary — everyone was saying that I was bowling too fast.

So I also realised, "I'm bowling too fast; I need to slow it down." I did that today, and I got the wickets. The result is right in front of you.

(About the backing from his captain) To be honest, the skipper backs me a lot. I'm playing all these matches because of him. He backs me tremendously. I had taken wickets before as well, but even so, Siddhant bhaiya has the belief that I can get wickets. So I just want to say a huge thank you to him.

(Who are you going to take along with you to the Goa trip) Family.

(Not the captain and not your teammates? If I win again in the next match, then I'll take my captain."
A brilliant performance by Outer Delhi Warriors in the death overs and they have managed to defeat Purani Dilli-6 by 21 runs. With this, Outer Delhi Warriors have moved to the second spot in the points table and Purani Dilli-6 have slipped to the third position.
Tomorrow, we have one more doubleheader. In the afternoon game, New Delhi Tigers will take on the East Delhi Riders and in the evening game, it will be defending champions West Delhi Lions locking horns with South Delhi Superstarz.
That's it from our live coverage of this game. This is Mohammad Anab signing off on behalf of my colleagues Abhishek Sharma and Sachin Yadav. Cheers.
