Tom Latham (POTM): "Yeah, I certainly think so. We have played a few games here in the tri-series. So quite used to the surface but it was a slightly different surface to the ones we played on in the tri-series.
The way Will Young batted, and the way GP (Glenn Phillips) played towards the end were brilliant. The partnership with Young was excellent. It felt nice to contribute. Then to get to 320 was just brilliant.
When I came in, it was about building a partnership. We were able to go through the gears a little bit more and increase the run rate, and when you have wickets in hand with these short sized square boundaries, you can make hay towards the back end. The score we made was well above par. Then the way GP (Glenn Phillips) hit at the end was fantastic.
It was not ideal to run that much between the wickets at the back end. We should have been hitting boundaries.
We didn't see the turn throughout the tri-series, but with the lack of dew, and with the wind, it probably turned a little bit more in the second innings. It was nice to be bowling second with the conditions we got. Again, our spinners did a terrific job."
