Quinton de Kock (Player of the Match): "Well, that's a hell of a stat. (Every time he scores 50+, South Africa win.) Thanks for letting me know. I think we played really well today. Nandre & Corbin set the tone early for us. They ended up with a decent total but we just needed to bat really well to chase it down.

I set very high standards for himself. I look at the mirror and set new goals for myself. It's a new team, new faces and everyone is doing really well. 

I think the youngsters are doing really well. Tony (de Zorzi) was nice and clinical in the middle. He was taking majority of the strike as he was looking really good in the middle."

Shaheen Afridi (Pakistan captain): "I think Saim and Agha played really well. Their partnership helped us stabilised. We lost three wickets early, after which we thought 270 will be a good score. But we dropped three catches. We will come back well. We will be stronger in the next game."

Matthew Breetzke (South Africa Captain): "Clinical all-round for us. Credit goes to Nandre up top for us with the ball. Also credit goes to Quinny, Lhuan & Tony.

South Africa's trip to Pakistan this year has felt like a boxing match where both sides have continuously exchanged some fierce jabs. The Test series was squared up 1-1, while the hosts bounced back from a comprehensive loss in the first T20I to register emphatic wins in the next two.
