10:52 PM IST, 7:22 PM Local Time: The live visuals show that the covers are in place. It is drizzling in Centurion and there's lightning near the ground. No official word yet but the waiting game continues. 

11:24 PM IST, 7:54 PM Local Time: Just like in Joburg, it is hailing now in Centurion. Spectators are ducking for cover on the grass banks.

11:34 PM IST, 8:04 PM Local Time: Handshakes all around and it looks like the game has been called off. We will have to wait for the official confirmation. It has arrived, the game is called off. So on a double-header day, both games have been washed out due to rain. In both games, toss took place but we could not get even a single ball bowled across both games. 

11:40 PM IST, 8:10 PM Local Time: A disappointing day at the SA20 with both games being washed out. This second game between Pretoria Capitals and Durban's Super Giants was set to take place as a 16 over per-side affair but rain intervened yet again. This means both Pretoria Capitals and Durban's Super Giants will get two points.

Five matches down, DSG have eight points and occupy the 4th position while Pretoria Capitals are at 5th with seven points from four matches. There is a big gap forming between Joburg Super Kings and Sunrisers Eastern Cape already, so let us hope that no more matches get washed out in the season.
