Anuj Rawat (Purani Dilli-6 Captain): "(What was going through his mind during the 2nd wicket partnership in the 1st Innings) Well, the thought was pretty simple. We all wanted to restrict them to as low as we can. We wanted to pick wickets at regular intervals. We knew that if we manage to pick one wicket now, we can restrict them to a score under 180 as we have a very strong bowling line-up.

(On the bowling line-up) I have full confidence on my bowlers. I know that even if we concede a lot of runs in the powerplay, we can make a comeback after the powerplay and restrict them to a low total.

(On Dev Lakra's innings) Absolutely. He batted exceptionally well today. Tremendous knock I think.

(On playing on back to back days) Sir, we are professionals. So, we had a chat after our game yesterday on how to play today. I think we were pretty calm and performed really well."

Dev Lakra (Player of the Match): "(What was your mindset when you walked in to bat?) Mindset was simple - whatever lands in my range, I have to play my shots against them and work the good deliveries for singles. The ball was coming onto the bat nicely, and I thought I'd continue.

(On hitting down the ground at number 3) Most of my range of shots are down the ground, so I stick to it. I'm batting at number 3, so my responsibility is to not try too hard, play straight.

(On missing out on hundreds) No, that didn't come to mind. Winning has been more important, doesn't matter whether it comes before or after hitting a hundred. Today was no different, winning was most important.

(On his bowling today and what the pre-season prep has been for it) Off-season training was important, fitness is important as an all-rounder. I tell my captain to give me more overs, he gives me less overs (Laughs)."

Purani Dilli-6 are alive and kicking in the tournament, kicking hard at that. They go into Qualifier 2 with a lot of momentum under their wings, and while they'll be up against Central Delhi Kings, the best team in the league phase this year, one that beat them convincingly twice this season, Purani Dilli-6 will fancy their chances with the kind of batting display they exhibited today. The Outer Delhi Warriors began tonight's game with a bang, but lost their way after that completely. They began badly with the ball as well, and were never really in the game after that.
