I think we did well to put those bad games behind us. It was either a very good game or a very bad game. But, so many different players stepping up. Amazing tournament for a number of players.
I didn't have my best year leading into this World Cup. May be I was overthinking. It was just another game of cricket. Separating captainship and batting made a bit easier for me.
We were hoping for little bit more. It was the right call to bowl first. We were in the chase throughout the game but lost too many wickets.
I was just checking that scoreboard and they were tracking 350. We were brilliant at the back end. 300 was above par and we thought we could chase it.
Definitely her (Shafali Verma) bowling. She batted extremely well. She plays aggressively but when she comes off like today, she can hurt other teams.

Another riveting ICC tournament draws to a close, and what a historic finish we’ve witnessed! For the first time ever in a Women’s Cricket World Cup final, neither Australia nor England featured — a sign that history was always destined to be made. And tonight, the Women in Blue have fulfilled a long-awaited dream, lifting the World Cup on home soil in front of a roaring sea of blue.
Heartbreak for South Africa, though. Skipper Laura Wolvaardt delivered back-to-back centuries in knockout games — one powering her side to the final, and another in a gallant losing cause.
