Just a single! Leeds needs just one more legal ball to win here! Yorker, outside the off stump, digs it out to covers for a run.
Huge cheer around Headingly as Potts delivers a fine yorker outside off stump to prevent the six.

Leeds won by 5 runs
10:00 PM IST, 5:30 PM Local Time | Sunrisers Leeds clinch a high-scoring thriller at home! They defeat Southern Brave by 5 runs, and they will be proud of their death bowling and under-pressure fielding today!

Southern Brave won the toss and elected to field today! A 111-run opening partnership between Mitchell Marsh (69) and Ryan Rickelton (37) was counter-attacked by a triple-wicket set from Adil Rashid (3/21) before Dan Lawrence finished off the innings with 51 runs off 25 balls to help Sunrisers Leeds establish a score of 187/5 at the end of their 100 balls.

Come the chase, Ben McKinney exploded at the start with a hard-hitting knock of 44 runs off 23 balls. Jamie Smith complemented him with a breezy 30 runs off 18 balls, and Marcus Stoinis' quickfire 31 off 18 put Southern Brave in a strong position to chase it down before the timeout.

However, then came the turnaround. Abrar Ahmed, after being blown away in his first spell, responded with a magical 10-ball super set that saw him remove Miller and Stoinis from the equation, but Southern Brave would remain in the hunt due to their deep batting lineup.

Tristan Stubbs and Nikhil Chaudhary looked to have recovered momentum for Southern Brave with 4 sets to go. Then came Leeds' pace trio led by Nathan Ellis, who produced one of the best displays of death bowling to stifle momentum in a way where the Leeds batters were unable to hit a boundary for 17 balls, and it led to the wicket of Nikhil Chaudhary (14) when he holed out in the deep off Ellis in the penultimate set.

Tristan Stubbs tried his best to chase down 21 in the last 4 balls, but Potts held his nerve to ensure Sunrisers Leeds won at their home ground!

Abrar Ahmed topped the bowling charts with 2/33 from 20 balls. The pace trio of Ellis-Potts-Revis picked up a wicket each to round up a match-winning bowling effort for Sunrisers Leeds.

Mitchell Marsh (POTM): "[On his time at the Hundred] Yeah it has been awesome. Nice bunch of lads. It was a tight game. I think the way we bowled at the backend was superb and that is a great way to kickstart our season.

[On batting at Leeds] It is a beautiful place to bat. It feels pretty small at times. Hopefully we can capitalise on that as a batting group. I love playing here so it was great."
