We were a bit slow getting out of Perth, and it was a long travel day yesterday, but we're used to that coming from the west coast, so we don’t mind it. We’ll be on to the next thing tomorrow. Yeah, absolutely. When you’re sent in to bat in a big final like this, you’ve got to make it count and settle the dugout. There are always nerves in big games, but I thought everyone handled it beautifully.
And yes, it’s never easy playing with an injury. She (Alana King) knows she hasn’t been at her best this tournament, and that finger has hampered her a bit. But the timing has been perfect — she’s been outstanding in the last couple of games. Hopefully, she’s got four more overs in her, and a couple of big bombs down in Hobart for sure."
