A potent left-handed batter Vikramjit Singh plays for the Netherlands team in international cricket. He was born in Cheema Khurd, Punjab and moved to the Dutch nation at the age of seven.
In 2018, Vikramjit made his Netherlands A debut. A year later, the southpaw made his T20I debut against Scotland, but couldn’t impress with his scores.
In March 2022, he came at number three and scored 19 off 21 in his ODI debut against New Zealand.
Then, the proficient batter garnered 147 runs in three innings in the West Indies series. It was the first occasion, wherein he donned the role of an opener for the national team.
The top-order batter mustered 116 runs in three appearances against Pakistan in August 2022, while registering his career-best knock of 65. He gained the limelight after being promoted higher up the batting order.The consistent contributions have helped the 19-year-old to cement a spot in the Netherlands squad for T20 World Cup 2022.
