Jos Buttler (Manchester Super Giants Captain): "[Feeling at the moment] Yeah, a mix of emotions. Excitement and euphoria of winning it and also relief after the last few balls. As Tim mentioned, to win five matches to be in this position. To lift the trophy, I think we deserve it. 

[On stepping up as captain] Yeah, I enjoyed it. It is a little bit more stressful but captaining a great bunch of guys with a bowling attack that's really varied. "It was crucial that we broke some really important partnerships and that went a long way to winning the game. 

[On captaining English bowlers] Yeah, absolutely. They all are a little bit different. They take ownership of their performances and they have been a pleasure to captain. 

[Was it the bowling or batting that made the difference] I think we've had some brilliant performances from every one of the boys at the top of the order since Aiden [Markram] had to leave. They've been outstanding, but it's been the wicket-taking ability of the team as well. Very well marshalled off the field by a very calm coaching staff as well. We've got a nice blend there with Tom Moody, who's done this a few times, and Justin Langer. All the guys have been brilliant. So I'm really proud of absolutely everyone involved."

What a season of The Hundred and what a final to close it out! A proper cricket carnival on the weekend at the Lord's, and at the end of it all, we have got two new champions. It was a one-sided final in The Women's competition as Sunrisers Leeds Women failed to turn up on the big day. Trent Rockets Women made light work of the summit clash and won their maiden title.

It was expected to be a cracker of a final in The Men's competition, and it certainly was one. Trent Rockets, who dominated the tournament, found a few good cameos to get to a fighting score. However, it was Noor Ahmad's opening set and his spell that got Manchester Super Giants a breathing space and a way to come back into the contest. Tim Seifert was out for a two-ball duck in the Eliminator, but he made his intentions clear from ball one when the stakes were high. The game was probably decided in the powerplay itself, but Sam Billings and Co. managed to stay in the game till the end by virtue of some street-smart bowling, especially from Mitchell Santner, who, though, for some reason, didn't bowl out. 

Mohammad Amir, with some late strikes, and Ben Sanderson, with some tight bowling, dragged the game till the last set, but Liam Dawson became the hero for the Super Giants as he hit the glory shot. Seifert powered his way to the fastest fifty in a Men's Hundred final. Paul Walter and Buttler didn't hold back as they came up with cameos. Not to forget that calculated batting from Leus du Plooy towards the end. In the end, the stars finally aligned for the Super Giants, who are the third time lucky.

No fourth title in a row for captain Sam Billings, but it's 4th in a row for coach/director of cricket Tom Moody. Trent Rockets couldn't win the Men's final, but they bagged the Hundred Helix's maiden silverware for topping the combined league standings across both Men's and Women's competitions. Manchester Super Giants' regular skipper Aiden Markram had to leave the tournament midway due to personal reasons, but Buttler took over the reins, and boy, how did he lead his side? MSG won five in a row, including the Eliminator and the Final. The fireworks go off at the Home of Cricket as Jos Buttler and Co. finally win their first title!
